Episode 58 – Cutthroat Island

With summer blockbuster season well upon us and a certain pirate making his way back to theaters, Mike and John decided to celebrate a summer that is shaping up to offer much Filmjitsu fodder with the biggest financial bust in movie history Cutthroat Island . They then list off their Bottom Five Swashbucklers all fit to be thrown overboard, respond to some listener feedback and provide some new in theaters Staff Picks before Mike makes John walk the plank with a truly awful movie for the next episode.

Episode 51 – Surviving the Game

Happy Anniversary! The guys celebrate surviving the first year of Filmjitsu by enjoying some quality hunting time with Gary Busey, Rutger Hauer and Ice-T in Surviving the Game . They then take a look back at the prior 50 episodes with their Bottom Five Filmjitsu Episodes before playing Alphabet Assault, digging into some Listener Feedback and wrapping it all up with some Staff Picks. Episode 18 – Jumanji

In light of this past Sunday being Father’s Day Mike and John send a giant shout out to fathers everywhere with Mike’s review of the Robin Williams’ CG fest Jumanji . They then tackle Bottom 5 Parental Decisions, offer up some staff picks and play Matinee Deathmatch. Mike tackled Jumanji “method film going” style at the plant which is featured in the film.
