Episode 58 – Cutthroat Island

With summer blockbuster season well upon us and a certain pirate making his way back to theaters, Mike and John decided to celebrate a summer that is shaping up to offer much Filmjitsu fodder with the biggest financial bust in movie history Cutthroat Island . They then list off their Bottom Five Swashbucklers all fit to be thrown overboard, respond to some listener feedback and provide some new in theaters Staff Picks before Mike makes John walk the plank with a truly awful movie for the next episode.

Episode 54 – Krull

In this episode John is joined by guest host Dan from the Bob and Dan Cast who fills in for the departed Mike for a review of the 1983 Peter Yates fantasy fest, Krull . John and Dan then weigh in on their Bottom Five Fucked Up Alien Planets, play a round of Alphabet Assault and provide their Staff Picks. John is also joined by the one and only Rider Strong for another Love Song. Finally John is joined by the next surprise guest host to reveal what film they will review for the next episode.

Episode 46 – Season of the Witch

This week Mike and John took a trip back in time with Nicholas Cage and Ron Perlman for the Crusade Era Epic Season of the Witch . They followed this up with their Bottom Five Witches, some Listener Feedback, a Special Guest Appearance and Staff Picks.

Episode 15 – A Love Song for Rider Strong

In a special interview edition of the show the guys sit down to chat with star of stage and screen Rider Strong. Rider was gracious enough to spend time talking about his early days on Boy Meets World , his time on such horror fests as the great Borderland and his recent work behind the camera with his brother Shiloh in the fantastic short film Irish Twins. The guys also discuss their favorite Rider Strong movie recasts before John faces off against Rider in a bout of Matinee Deathmatch and then the show wraps up with a super dose of listener feedback.
